Pedro Hipólito
Pedro has a degree in Organizational Psychology at ISPA and an Executive Master in Management at INDEG / ISCTE. He started his professional career in 2004 having worked in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Assessment & Development Centers and Training. After 7 years at Ray Human Capital, he joined Jason Associates in 2014, where he was responsible for Talent Management projects in different sectors. In 2016, he joined Jerónimo Martins in the areas of Corporate Recruitment and Talent Programs.
Serene and thoughtful, he values content more than form, actions and words rather than the process. A supporter of the Law of Parsimony and Darwin's Theory of Evolution, he likes simple things and believes that in his area of specialization (Executive Search & Assessment) it is the small details that make the difference. He loves sports, especially football, which he practiced at the federated level for 9 years, where he learned in practice that the whole is really greater than the sum of the parts.
He is Partner at ARGO since 2017, responsible for the Business Development and Innovation areas and for the Talent Acquisition Project Management for different talent segments.

What was the most curious thing you have seen until today?
The way music connects people as well as its ability to mobilize and change people’s mentalities is truly impressive. When I was young I remember looking at photographs of concerts like Live Aid or Woodstock and being astonished by the crowds because so many people where sharing the same moment.

How would you like to see the world in 10 years?
I would like to see a society with a stronger sense of comunity and simultaneously more freedom for people to express their own individuality; a world where green economy rules; where education is more oriented towards values and integrated knowledge; where project based work, and working for different companies is the rule and not the exception; where personal relationships, emotions, small data prevail over robotics, technology and big data.

A trait you enjoy in other people?
Sponteneity, obsessive curiosity, genuineness and ilusion…the conservation of traits we are born with, which we pull away from over time.

A book that inspires you…
“On the road” by Jack Kerouac – because of the horizons it opened to me at the life stage I was in.

A place that makes you happy?
Places where my friends are in, my family and my roots: Abrantes, Lisbon and Nisa.
